It has been a privilege for the Rashba Family to be involved with AKIM-Jerusalem for more than 13 years in various capacities (trekkers, board member, volunteers with AKIM-Jerusalem residents and activities). The Amuta (not-for-profit charitable organization) does its very best in a number of ways to service people with intellectual disabilities, and that servicing costs much more than the support that AKIM-Jerusalem receives from the Israeli government.
That is why we are actively involved in helping the organization raise money, and why we are turning to you and asking for your generous donations.
Thank you for your support
AKIM-Jerusalem is an Israeli non-profit organization founded in 1951. Its mission is to develop, advance, and enhance the quality of life of Jerusalem’s intellectually challenged youth and adult population.
